Blaine High School is excited to welcome Natalie Thomas as the new head volleyball coach. Natalie is currently a Health and Physical Education teacher at two middle schools within the Anoka-Hennepin school district. In 2018 Natalie assisted in leading the Champlin Park High School volleyball team to win the state championship and in 2019 they were able to secure the conference championship. Natalie herself was a Champlin Park Rebel and was a three year starting varsity setter, earning many accolades. Following her high school career she attended The University of Minnesota Morris where she continued her setting career and added many additional accolades including all conference and team MVP. Graduating with a degree in Physical Education, Health Education and Exercise Science as well as coaching and strength & conditioning will allow her to easily transition her school experience to the court. She also has many years of coaching experience not only at the high school level, but also at the college level at North Dakota State University & Minnesota State University Moorhead. Natalie is a true Minnesotan and in her free time enjoys hunting, ice-fishing and spending time up north at the cabin.
We are currently planning for and anticipating a 2020 Volleyball season.
