12's and 14's Season Information
The club season generally begins in December and runs through March or April. Your team will have 2 practices per week (with the possibility of only one practice per week on holiday weeks) and up to 8 playdates/tournaments. The 14's team may play one out of town weekend tournament.
16's Season Information
The club season will be flexible to allow multi-sport Blaine area athletes to play volleyball at a competitive level. The season will likely begin in December and run through April or May. Your team will have 2 practices per week (with the possibility of only one practice per week on holiday weeks) and up to 8 playdates/tournaments, with one likely being an out of town weekend tournament.
12's and 14's Tryout will be held Sunday, October 27th, 8:00am - 11:00am, at Blaine High School
16's Tryout will be held Sunday, November 10th, 8:00am - 11:00am, at Blaine High School
TEAM FORMATION
We will have the following teams for the 24-25 Season:
12's: tryouts required for this level
14's: tryouts required for this level
16's: tryouts required for this level
There will be a Team Formation Tryout day for the JO teams at the 12's, 14's, and 16's levels. Your athlete must be at the Team Formation day to be assigned to a team. Depending on the number of interested athletes, the team formation day may need to be a tryout, where some athletes are not assigned to a team. This is unfortunate but because of limited practice facilities it is something we may have to implement. The Blaine Juniors Volleyball coaching staff will form teams based on age and abilities. Team rosters will most likely include 10 athletes and 2 coaches.
Volleyball players in the Blaine High School attendance area in grades 6-10 are eligible to try out for a spot on one of our competitive Junior Olympic teams. The Blaine Juniors Volleyball coaching staff will select the players at the conclusion of tryouts. Team rosters will most likely include 10 athletes and 2 coaches.
